ND Vocational Rehabilitation assists individuals with disabilities to improve their employment opportunities and assists businesses in solving their disability related issues. |
| SERVICES AVAILABLE: |

To Employers:
- Rehabilitation Consulting & Services (RCS): Rehabilitation Consulting & Services (RCS) services were developed to assist businesses and employers to find and keep a competitive advantage and heighten the awareness of disability issues.
RCS strives to build partnerships and relationships with the North Dakota business owner/employer by offering services in four key areas. These no-cost services are designed to assist businesses and employers in developing strategies that will aid them in becoming proactive and progressive towards their disability-related issues.
- Staffing
Prescreened, qualified job applicants.
Prospective employee testing and training.
- Financial Incentives
On-the-job training programs.
Disabled Access Tax Credits to Small Business.
Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC).
- Accessibility Analysis and Options
Job analysis.
Job restructuring.
Site evaluations.
A.D.A. consultations and referrals.
Options for reasonable accommodations.
Resources and referrals on assistive technology and services.
- Education and training
Disability awareness/sensitivity training.
Americans with Disability Act training.
To Eligible Clients:
- Evaluation
Medical, psychological, education, work.
- Vocational Guidance and Counseling
Interest testing, evaluations of strengths and the effects of your disability on your work, planning and implementing corrective strategies, and helping you to adjust to and live with a disability.
- Training
On the job, job coaching, academic, specific job skills.
- Employment
Develop resume-writing skills, develop interview strategies, job referral, placement and follow-up.
- Accommodations
Adaptive aids, assistive technology, accessibility and work site evaluations and A.D.A. issues.
- Restoration (medical, psychological)
Treatment, orthotic and prosthetic devices and other types of accommodations.

| COST OF SERVICES: |

ND Vocational Rehabilitation offers all of its services free of charge. The only costs that may be incurred are for modifications that a business may choose to make or for any reasonable accommodations that a business chooses to implement. |
| GEOGRAPHICAL AREA SERVED: |
| |
ND Vocational Rehabilitation has regional offices located in the state's eight major cities. VR consultants outreach to communities in their respective office area. |
| CLIENTELE SERVED: |
| |
ND Vocational Rehabilitation offers services to eligible individuals with disabilities that have a medical or psychological disability that is supported by a diagnosis from a doctor, psychologist, or licensed professional. The disability must keep the individual from finding employment or satisfactorily performing current job duties.
Rehabilitation Consulting & Services (RCS) are offered to all North Dakota employers.
