MISSION:
  To save and retain American manufacturing jobs by helping firms create strategies and skills to help themselves.
FUNCTION:
  The Rocky Mountain Trade Adjustment Assistance program helps manufacturing firms that have been hurt by foreign competition by providing federal funding for cost-shared management and technical projects.

COST OF SERVICES:
  The Rocky Mountain Trade Adjustment Assistance Center provides no cost assistance when applying for certification of eligibility. The program pays for at least 50 percent of the cost of the business plan development and implementation of management and technical projects.
CLIENTELE SERVED:
  In order to qualify, the firm must be a manufacturer that has experienced a recent decline in sales and employment and has competition in its market.
AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS:
  The Rocky Mountain TAAC is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce and sponsored by the Business Research Division of the University of Colorado in Boulder.
