PURPOSE:
  Midwest Assistance Program (MAP) is dedicated to helping rural communities be self-sustaining and improve their environment and quality of life.
PROGRAMS:
  MAP offers technical assistance, training and loans to small, rural communities in nine states (Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming) on water, wastewater and solid waste management. MAP is one of six regional technical assistance resource centers in the nation called the Rural Community Assistance Partnership (RCAP).
SERVICES AVAILABLE:
  MAP meets with local community officials on-site to provide the technical assistance and training that is tailored to meet specific needs. Assistance is provided upon request.
COST OF SERVICES:
  For eligible communities, grant funding is available. Consultative services available for others.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA SERVED:
  Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
CLIENTELE SERVED:
  Small, rural communities (mobile home parks, homeowner associations, water and sewer districts) and tribal entities.
