| PURPOSE OF THE NDSU EXTENSION SERVICE: |

Working to create vital North Dakota communities by identifying, developing and delivering resources. The NDSU Extension Service provides practical research-based education programs and connections to the university, and other relevant resources to help individuals, organizations, businesses and communities.
The Center structures its educational programs around three broad areas:
- Improving the local community business climate;
- Building community-based infrastructure and organizations; and
- Enhancing civic engagement
