NDSU Extension Center for Community Vitality Print
PURPOSE OF THE NDSU EXTENSION SERVICE:
  Working to create vital North Dakota communities by identifying, developing and delivering resources. The NDSU Extension Service provides practical research-based education programs and connections to the university, and other relevant resources to help individuals, organizations, businesses and communities.

The Center structures its educational programs around three broad areas:
  1. Improving the local community business climate;
  2. Building community-based infrastructure and organizations; and
  3. Enhancing civic engagement
PURPOSE OF THE CENTER FOR COMMUNITY VITALITY PROGRAMS:

  • Nature Based Tourism/Agritainment
  • Asset-Based Planning
  • Business Retention and Expansion Visitation Program
  • Youth Entrepreneurship Programs
  • E-Business Training for Entrepreneurs
  • Leadership Development

  Educational services only.
COST OF SERVICES:
  Varies with type of program, but most are low cost. Calls and many informational pieces are no cost.

  State of North Dakota.

  Residents of North Dakota.
