| PURPOSE: |

To conduct, promote and coordinate university education about cooperatives, conduct research for and about cooperatives, to strengthen operating cooperatives, and to assist in expanding economic opportunities through the cooperative form of business. |
| MAJOR PROGRAMS: |
| |
- The research program of the QBCC includes government-funded research about cooperatives, and contract research primarily conducted for individual cooperatives.
- Outreach programs include speaking engagements, including topics in financial understanding and management, and strategic planning.
- University educational programs include on-campus and distance delivery of courses in cooperative business structures, guidance of graduate student research, addressing cooperatives and research seminars in issues important to cooperatives.
