KNDC, Inc. was formed to ensure a continuous statewide program of education for beautification of the state and the proper disposal of litter. They sponsor an annual poster contest for grades 1-8 and special needs students.

LAKE AGASSIZ ARTS COUNCIL
  The Lake Agassiz Arts Council is an association of 53 not-for-profit arts organizations, arts related businesses and artists. The mission of the council is to advocate for and serve the arts in the communities of Cass County, North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota. The arts represent a significant economic and quality of life impact in communities where it thrives. The Lake Agassiz Arts Council is dedicated to supporting and promoting the interests of the arts in its service area. Toward that effort, the Arts Council distributes two periodicals throughout Cass and Clay counties. The Arts Forum, published quarterly, is a newspaper which features the arts and artists. The Arts Events calendar, published monthly, lists arts events presented by Arts Council members. The Arts Events calendar is also available on the Lake Agassiz Arts Council website, http://fm-arts.com. Recently, the Council sponsored "Herd About the Prairie," a tri-city public art project raising over $90,000 for the arts.

  Minn-Dak Growers, LTD. is a contractor, producer and marketer of buckwheat, mustard, confection sunflowers and safflower to the domestic and international food ingredients industry.
