Operation: Intern Print
PURPOSE:
  The mission of Operation: Intern is to link students with job and career opportunities in North Dakota by increasing awareness and promoting the development of internship programs. Operation: Intern has been coordinated by the Office of the Governor in cooperation with: North Dakota University System, Job Service North Dakota, ND Department of Commerce, ND Association of Career Service Professionals, ND Department of Career and Technical Education, the Youth Development Council and the Workforce Development Council. Operation: Intern is a two part initiative containing:
  • An integrated marketing strategy containing a number of elements such as radio ads, direct mail and follow-up calls; and
  • A coordinated outreach effort between Job Service and the North Dakota University System targeting North Dakota businesses with one-one contact and special events promoting internships.
The goal of the project is to increase internship opportunities for North Dakota students.

Online tools, resources and contacts available for businesses interested in developing an internship.
