To provide quality commodities, services, construction and contingency services to support the readiness of the 5th Bomb Wing, 91st Space Wing and the tenant units.

- Small Business Specialist maintains an outreach program for all small businesses
- Training on doing business with Minot AFB; to include training on acceptance of the government-wide Purchase Card (GPC), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and (WAWF) Wide Area Work Flow invoicing system,
- Squadron members participate in area procurement seminars/conferences
- 5th Contracting hosts Vendor Fairs, Small Business Seminars and Open House
- 5th Contracting hosts and schedules vendor demonstrations
