The Sheyenne River Valley Chapter of the North Country Trail Association is responsible for planning, building, overseeing and maintaining the North Country National Scenic Trail between the northern border of Griggs County and the northern border of Fort Ransom State Park. The North Country National Scenic Trail is a premier footpath that stretches over 4,000 miles across seven northern states.
