ND Workforce Training System |

The goal of the ND Workforce Training System is to provide business and industry in North Dakota with the most competitive workforce in the state. This goal is being met by implementing a model developed by the Task Force on Workforce Development and Training. Development of the model was coordinated by the Greater ND Association using the best practices of Workforce Training Systems. The model has the following characteristics:
- Designated geographic service regions.
- Administered by two-year colleges with special units of the colleges specifically designed to meet the workforce training needs of business and industry.
- Financial support through a combination of state, local and private sources.
- Strong collaborative relationships between institutions providing training and individuals business being served and among educational institutions and various government agencies involved in workforce training.
