| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of the Souris Basin Planning Council is to be responsive to the needs of local governments and other development interests that further the continued progress of the region. This is accomplished by providing guidance and assistance in problem solving, information sharing and partnership building and advocating local government needs with local, state, regional and federal entities. By providing a professional staff to work as partners with local governments, these goals are achieved in the most effective and efficient manner. |
