| PURPOSE: |

AURI is a nonprofit corporation committed to strengthening the economy of rural Minnesota through the development of new uses and new markets for the state's agricultural commodities. AURI provides technical and product development assistance, access to laboratory facilities and connections to available resources to help in the creation of new value-added uses for farm goods. Most AURI services are available at no cost to Minnesota companies working on agriculturally based products. Assistance is also available to qualified clients to help move ag-based products into the marketplace. |
| OPERATIONS: |

AURI has three regional offices located throughout Minnesota to promote access to programs and services. AURI headquarters is located in Crookston, with regional offices in Marshall and Waseca. AURI is primarily funded by the Minnesota State Legislature and governed by a board of directors comprised of representatives from farm organizations, commodity groups, the legislature and industry. |
