PURPOSE:
  Job Service North Dakota provides customer-focused services to meet the current and emerging workforce needs of the state. This is done by providing an array of services for both job seekers and employers at customer service centers located throughout North Dakota.

Resource Centers located in Job Service North Dakota offices offer computer software for writing resumes, cover letters, and choosing a career or vocation. Computers are available to self register for work, search for jobs and post a resume. CDs, books and other information pertaining to job hunting and labor market statistics are available at most locations.

In addition, the Job Service web site, www.jobsnd.com can be accessed for information on unemployment insurance, job listings within the state and nation, job training programs, and labor market information.

COST OF SERVICES:
  The majority of services are provided at no cost to job applicants and employers. Some training programs provide payments to participants and partial wage reimbursement or tax credit to employers.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA SERVED:
  Job Service has offices in Williston, Minot, Rolla, Devils Lake, Grafton, Grand Forks, Fargo, Wahpeton, Valley City, Jamestown, Bismarck, Beulah, Dickinson, Fort Yates and New Town. In addition, part-time offices are located in Harvey and Oakes. Services may be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.jobsnd.com.
CLIENTELE SERVED:
  Basic services are available to all persons needing assistance with their employment needs. Unemployment insurance claims can be completed online or through a central telephone claims center.
