Red River Valley Research Corridor Print

PURPOSE:

The Red River Valley Research Corridor was developed by U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan as a way to bring new jobs and businesses to the region by building world-class research centers at our universities and by supporting our region's growing high-tech sector. The Coordinating Center of the Red River Valley Research Corridor is a catalyst for the development and growth of science and technology-based enterprises throughout North Dakota.

SERVICES AVAILABLE:

  • Assist university and business researchers in tracking, acquiring and leveraging federal funding for research, training and manufacturing contracts.
  • Facilitate collaborative research and technology development between universities and business through the formation and coordination of research and commercialization teams.
  • Convene technology action summits to activate regional networking and to connect with potential collaborators and investors to create opportunities in the Corridor and throughout North Dakota.
  • Market the Corridor's research and technology assets outside the region.
  • Provide links between business investment capital, high-tech businesses and North Dakota's universities and colleges.

COST OF SERVICES:

No cost to university and business researchers and technology-based development organizations.

GEOGRAPHICAL AREA SERVED:

Services available to university and business researchers and technology-based development organizations in North Dakota. Services also available to Research Corridor collaborators and partners outside North Dakota.
