The Regional Technology Center is a business incubator for information technology companies looking to expand or start a new business. The Center can assist with space, equipment, financing and incentives. The Center is interested in companies engaged in a range of technologies and solutions including software services, e-commerce, networking services, network administration and certification, project management of business solutions including database and web based technologies, and more.

The Regional Technology Center aims to:

• Assist growing companies looking to expand.
• Support entrepreneurs wanting to start their own business.
• Continue developing partnerships between private businesses and Valley City State University.
• Provide a skilled workforce for growing companies...every year.
• Provide business and career opportunities for people.

The Regional Technology Center strives to compliment and enhance VCSU programs including A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, Oracle SQL and Oracle CRM (Customer Relations Management). The key software courses VCSU offers are: Business Intelligence; Project Management; and Enterprise Applications.

The Center houses Edu Tech whose mission is to "Improve Teaching with Technology." Educators receive professional development opportunities, which will enable them to integrate technology throughout the curriculum.
